Extracting the full flavor from a light roast coffee can be incredibly difficult. Because light roasts are dense and hold onto their flavors tightly, you need to grind them finer to get a sweet, balanced shot. The problem? Grinding finer in a standard basket often clogs the holes and chokes the espresso machine.

The He[%] (High Extraction) Filter Basket is completely re-engineered to solve this problem, allowing you to push your extraction further and get a noticeably richer, fuller-bodied cup from light and medium roasts.

• Edge-to-Edge Precision Flow: Unlike standard baskets where the holes stop before the edges, this basket features laser-cut, CNC-finished holes that span the entire bottom surface. This massive open area reduces water resistance and ensures no coffee is left unextracted at the edges of the puck.

• Allows for a Finer Grind: Because the high-porosity floor offers less resistance, water flows through much easier. This means you can grind your coffee significantly finer than usual, dramatically increasing your Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and unlocking hidden sweetness and flavor notes.
